DESCRIPTION:

The aim of this qualification is to provide candidates with a basic knowledge of health and safety in the workplace, including the duties of employees and employers under UK health and safety legislation.  Most injuries and incidents of ill-health can be avoided.  With this in mind a nationally-recognised qualification aimed at all employees has been developed.  The British Safety Council promotes high standards of health and safety in the workplace. Candidates will learn how their actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and gain a clear understanding of their responsibilities to others.
