What is BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders?
It is now the law in England and Wales that anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence. Those who wish to obtain a personal licence need to apply to their local authority. Applicants will be asked for a number of things to support their application; these will include proof that they hold a licencing qualification such as the BIIAB NCPLH.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who wishes to work in a licenced premises or any venue or site where alcohol is sold for drinking on or off the premises – in a position where they will authorise the sale of alcohol to the public.
This BIIAB NCPLH covers the syllabus set by government to enable candidates to understand the law in relation to:
Assessment
Assessment is via a 40 question multiple choice examination and covers all aspects of the law and social responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol to the public. It’s the only qualification of its kind to contain a compulsory section which candidates must pass. This acts as a safeguard for the candidate’s licence and their business.
Itinerary
This course runs from 09:30 - 16:30. Lunch and refreshments are provided. The cost of the course includes assessment and certification. Free parking is available for all delegates.
