First Aid at Work 2010 - 3 Day Course

DESCRIPTION:

Employers are now legally required to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they're injured or taken ill at work. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than 5 employees and to self-employed people.

Employers need to:

• Consider the risks and re-assess your cover considering 'the nature of the work, the hazards and the risks';
• Consider and identify what possible injuries could occur in order to ensure sufficient first aid provision is available.

This 3 day First Aid at Work training course covers the skills required by first aiders in the workplace and is legally compliant with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.  On completion of this course participants will have the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies at work.

The course runs over 3 days from 09:30 - 16:30 and lunch will be provided.  The cost of the course is £175 + VAT, which also includes assessment and certification.
